Remanufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for leading activities required to introduce Series engine designs into the remanufacturing process. Conduct engineering evaluations on diesel engines and accessories to ensure compliance with DEUTZ company standards. Collaborate with customers, sales, and service to capture all required engineering data to introduce engines into manufacturing. Create shop floor processes for component cleaning / inspection / remanufacturing, product assembly, and testing. Support development and implementation of lean manufacturing methods. Act as a technical expert in diesel engine remanufacturing and assembly.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Create engine specs for OE and Distributor customer base.
Lead production and engineering team in launching new designs and design changes into manufacturing.
Research, create, and maintain production material system and BOM documentation using SAP.
Research, create, and maintain machining specifications
Determine acceptance / rejection criteria for exchange parts
Determine identification criteria and create identification documentation for exchange parts
Determine technical processes for exchange parts and remanufactured assemblies
Determine technical resources (tools, equipment, infrastructure) needed to accomplish engine remanufacturing
Research, determine, and implement plant floor layout and operational methods
Increase part yield/reduce process scrap.
Other duties as assigned
6-8 years or more of engineering experience with diesel engines, as a design or application engineer.
BS in engineering or technology, BSME preferred
Experience in a manufacturing (machining / assembly) environment
Experience with 3-D & 2-D CAD software
Knowledge of and experience with industrial engines and components
Knowledge of and experience with industrial engine assembly and testing
Knowledge of and experience with engine component machining operations
Knowledge of and experience with lean manufacturing concepts and methods
Knowledge of diesel engine design and applications, including EPA regulations.
Past experience in engine design in a management position desired.
Previous experience in International business desirable.
German language skills are desirable
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Physical and Environmental Elements:
Frequent, brief exposure to typical engine manufacturing and cleaning environments.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
