PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To perform all clerical duties pertaining to the shipping of orders and the receiving in inbound products and goods.
II.
GUIDE TO THE POSITION - DUTIES,
Responsibilities:
1.
Preparation of computer bills of lading and packing lists, in accordance with established inventory procedures, including preparation of import/export documents.
2.
Wait on drivers/vendors at the shipping office window.
3.
Schedule LTL Carriers for Pendergrass and Commerce, if not electronically done with the TMS.
4.
Perform bin location data entry.
5.
Process all returns.
6.
Open and approve all freight bills.
Manually and electronically through Transportation Management System (TMS) 7.
Process all UPS shipments.
8.
Responsible to make sure all period end processes are processed.
9.
Maintain appropriate files for shipping and receiving documents in accordance with procedures.
9.
Prepare required daily shipping and receiving logs within the AS400.
10.
Receive into the AS400 purchasing module, all MRO and finished goods from vendors and outside warehouses.
Key unit numbers for dock receiving.
Check accuracy of vendor packing list against product received.
Print labels, as needed.
11.
Update scorecard.
12.
Set up and manage photos of all inbound and outbound shipments.
13.
Prepare required daily shipping and receiving logs in the AS400.
14.
Must have experience with Microsoft Suite 365 to include Excel, and a high competency with numbers.
Must have Transportation Management System (TMS), prefer Mercury Gate.
Geodocs, SharePoint, Lotus Notes, AS400.
15.
Back up for the Transportation Coordinator, Inventory Control Specialist, and Cycle Counter.
16.
Other duties as needed.

Minimum education required:
High School Diploma and/or G.

equivalent.
B.
Minimum experience required:
2 years shipping and receiving in a manufacturing environment.
Must have 3 years Transportation Management System (TMS), Mercury Gate preferred.
C.
Description of working conditions/physical surroundings:
Generally, an office environment with occasional time spent in a warehouse.
Ability to stand, sit, walk, and crouch frequently (25% to 75%).
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crawl, kneel and climb occasionally (25% or less) Ability to reach and handle/manipulate continuously (75% or more) Ability to use fingers, wrist, and arm/shoulder continuously (75%or more), Ability to under 10lbs frequently (25% to 75%) A.
